He will hand over the vehicle with all necessary documents for your holiday. Your first night will be at the Burley House on bed and breakfast.

After your breakfast, get ready and start drive to Liwonde National Park, Malawi’s premier wildlife destination. Arriving in Liwonde early afternoon, you will be transferred to Mvuu Camp by boat across the Shire River where you will stay for the next 2 nights on full board plus 2 game activities per day.

Located in the southern part of Malawi on the banks of Shire River and Lake Malombe. Liwonde National is Malawi’s wildlife premier destination. The 580 sq km wildlife reserve is home to over 400 species of bird, a dense population of hippos, crocodiles, large numbers of elephants and a variety of antelope species. There is regular sightings of lions, cheetahs, and black rhinos.

Mvuu Camp is set amongst large, shady trees along the banks of the surging Shire River. The camp offers a charming setting for those wishing to explore the country’s premier wildlife haven. The impressive thatched dining and lounge area offers magnificent vistas over the river, framed by two large baobab trees. The camp’s inviting pool is ideal for those wishing to cool off. The camp is completed by a traditional dining under the stars. The camp offers an impressive atmosphere, lively and dynamic.

After your morning activity and breakfast, you will check out and transferred by boat, crossing the Shire. You get to your vehicle and start driving to Chembe Eagles Nest on the shores of Lake Malawi in Lake Malawi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Chembe Eagles Nest Lodge is located in Cape Maclear, with its a long and beautiful beach on Lake Malawi. They offer a number of small quaint chalets which are all en-suite and have views overlooking the well-kept gardens and lake itself. If you are here for a short or long stay you will find this lovely location has so much to offer, adventure awaits you. If you just want to relax and enjoy some down time there is plenty of that to do around this tranquil spot too.

The small en-suite chalets are comfortable and you will wake every morning feeling well rested and ready for the day ahead.
