Upon your arrival at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe, a Malawi on Wheels representative will be on hand to warmly welcome you and assist with your luggage to the vehicle. He will facilitate a smooth handover of your self-drive vehicle, complete with all the necessary documentation for your trip. Once equipped, you will begin your journey by driving to Ntchisi Forest Lodge on the foot of Ntchisi Forest Reserve one of the last rainforest in the Southern Africa. The drive will take you approximately 3 hours.

Ntchisi Forest Lodge is a remote eco-lodge in historical building in a rainforest location with the most stunning view in Malawi. The lodge offers a real African experience as it offers its guests most memorable experiences in rainforest and participation in some cultural activities in remote rural villages still untouched by tourism. Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake’s golden beaches, water activities, cultural encounters, and breathtaking sunsets, blending relaxation with safari adventure. The drive will take you about 4 hours.

An eco-friendly lodge with thatched chalets on the foot of Lifuwu Hill overlooking Lake Malawi at Senga Bay. Kumbali Lake Retreat comes with the same familiar ‘home-away-from-home’ feel with comfort and nature as the main-focus.
