Accommodation
Croc Valley offers a variety of different accommodation to suit everyone’s budget and preferences. From self-contained chalets on platforms, luxury en-suite tents on the river bank, affordable backpacker rooms and a family Chalet to the Campsite with thatched lapa’s, electrical points and water outlets all on lush green lawns. All accommodation is environmentally friendly offering guests fantastic view of the wilderness wandering through the camp.
The camp offers full board for those looking a more relaxed and have food prepared for them, and there are cooking facilities available for self-catering.

Camping
The campsite is on the banks of the Luangwa River caters for campers in tents and overland trucks. Facilities at the campsite include parking areas, summer huts, power points, hot showers and flushing toilets.
Enjoy stunning river views, star gazing, campfires and the night-time sounds of the African bush. You might encounter wild animals, big and small, which frequently roam through the camp. The camp provides lockers and fridges for campers in a secure kitchen.
Amenities

The chefs provide delicious meals and snacks from original recipes using fresh ingredients. Meals can be ordered at bar and restaurant, or opt for the full-board option that includes all meals. The camp also offers a self-service kitchen for those who prefer to cook for themselves.

There is a big outdoor swimming pool, perfect for sunbathing and cooling off. Hammocks scattered around the camp are perfect for relaxing in the shade. Between safaris, in the midday heat, our hippo friendly swimming pool provides the perfect place to relax and cool off. Hammocks are also scattered around the camp over-seeing the river and the swimming pool.

The bar is always open and serves ice cold drinks throughout the day, whether you prefer to relax by the pool, catch up through our FREE WiFi, in a hammock or catch up with the news on our satellite TV.

Game drives (morning and evening) & Walking Safaris
Croc Valley Camp runs own game drives led by qualified local guides in Land Cruiser Safari Vehicles. Morning drives usually start before sunrise, allowing you to take in the best of the early game viewing. The afternoon drives often continue after slightly dark to try and spot some of the park’s night-time inhabitants. You will be getting back to the camp in time for supper. Night drives gives an opportunity to enjoy the nocturnal creatures of the park after the sun has set.
Walking safaris in the South Luangwa National Park where guests are allowed to witness the incredible diversity of African wildlife up-close. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the bush on foot, usually for a few hours at a time. Qualified walking guide and armed ranger will accompany you and make sure of your safety during your excursion.
