Kiambi Safari Lodge is conveniently located just a 3.5-hour drive from Lusaka, accessing Kiambi is a breeze, making it an ideal getaway destination for both residents and international travellers yearning to escape the urban chaos.

Accommodation
Luxury Air-Conditioned Chalets
Luxury chalets have the advantage of being air-conditioned for those who want a cooler relief from the Lower Zambezi heat. Being river facing and in a more secluded corner of our lodge, the luxury chalets offer guests a more private and intimate experience.
Each chalet has a king size bed but they can accommodate an extra 2 single beds at most, if required. Numbers above the mentioned will require an additional room.
Each Luxury Chalet Includes: King size bed - Ensuite shower and bath facility - Mini bar fridge - AC units - Private veranda area - Coffee station - Safe - Small seating area.
Full-board bookings in luxury chalets includes a complimentary sunset cruise included in a two-night stay at the lodge and a complementary 3-hour canoe excursion included in a 3-night stay.
Thatched Tented Chalets
Kiambi has 8 luxury thatched chalets that are all river-facing, offering guests a pleasant sunrise and sunset view from the comfort of their balconies.
Two of our tented chalets house a king size bed, while the other five have twin-bed set ups but a conversion to a double can be done upon request.

Experiences
Our team of professional guides are dedicated to delivering an exceptional safari experience. With an intimate knowledge of the area, its wildlife and birdlife, they possess extensive experience that allows them to showcase the very best of the Lower Zambezi. Common wildlife sightings include elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles throughout the year. Further down the river in the Lower Zambezi National Park, lion and hyena sightings are frequent, with leopard and wild dog also making appearances.
Game drives at Kiambi take place in the national park, as the lodge is situated at a distance from the park gates. When embarking on a game drive, guests are taken down into the Lower Zambezi National Park via boat, covering 65km of the scenic Lower Zambezi river. Upon arrival into the park, guests will meet their designated guide in the game vehicle to begin their drive on the lookout for animals in the area. The Lower Zambezi boasts a healthy number of animals, with frequent sightings of lions, leopards, buffalo and the many antelope species of Zambia.
